About

song pairing: It's A Great Day To Be Alive by Travis Tritt

my name is liz and i am enjoying this lovely life, just like you!
i am 38, planning to be forever young.

i am a pescatarian. no meat. yes fish.
i am a psychotherapist. yes, i might be analyzing you.
i love photography. documenting life as it happens.
i am a positive person. i don't watch the news much.
i treat the janitor the same way i treat the CEO. i think you should too.
i am an adrenaline junkie. i am forever craving something new to experience.
i dig design and style. might as well surround yourself with pretty things.
i love to travel and taste new fare. not very domestic. wanderlust.
i am a runner. it keeps me strong and sane.
i crave health food. i honestly do.

me and my southern gent are d.i.n.k.s. {double income no kids}
the no kids part is not by choice, but we work daily to embrace it.
here is a link with more on that complicated little soul search of mine.
we dive into the lives of our nieces and nephews, they are our heart and soul.

music is the soundtrack to my life.
i pair songs with my posts. it adds a little more depth to my stories.

this blog is my attempt to practice gratitude and spread a little sunshine.
Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.
