dining room project

song pair: Daydream Believer by The Monkees

my dining room has practiced patience. it was the last space, on the main level, to get due attention. one of the things that drew me to this Bazaar Wool Dhurrie rug was the gray and yellow palette. i love the idea of mixing metals and it provided a source to incorporate silver and golden tones. we previously utilized these Eames Eiffel Arm Chairs at the breakfast nook, but because they are quite full they felt more appropriate around a larger table. Oh and notice the table runner. The window panels are the same fabric, sort of art deco. i am learning more about mixing patterns. large scale pairs with small scale. a preview coming soon.

life is a project. we should always be evolving and fine tuning ourselves. my hope is improvement on a daily basis. learning, growing, changing perspective & elevating. sometimes that means modifying our surroundings or the people we are surrounding ourselves with. I choose to live an eclectic and colorful life.
